Our best bet in making money in the online landscape is being ourselves. Too many internet publishers are copycats. It's okay to be influenced by other business people but to copy them is asking for failure. Why would I read someone copying John Chow if I could just read John Chow? Each of us has strengths and if we focus and do business with our strengths in mind, we'll build a business that's distinct and will reach a niche that we could reach better than others.
