Just a Note:
I read Ilker Yoldas’ The Thinking Blog. I enjoy his posts and learn from him. Today he posted about how to get your blog recognized. He’s actually writing about another blog. What’s so interesting to me is that I got a lot of interesting ideas about promotion from him, but I really disliked the blog he was referencing. Now, I disliked the blog because I can’t stand cursing online. That may be just my own quirk (or maybe my mother actually raised a gentleman!). My dislike of offensive language aside, read the post! It has a lot of good ideas!

You are right.. I should have taken note of the use of language in that blog but the way he got recognized was not because of that. It was his marketing techniques that got me thinking.
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it a lot

Of course, I might have been a little too quick to judge. I’m like that. You know, shoot first, ask questions later. Not that I’m planning to change! I actually like that about myself
Having said that, we can learn from all kinds of people, those we like and those we don’t particularly care for. On more thing, allowing someone to have their flaws is important too. I surely have mine. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for the posts on your blog! I’ve gotten a lot out of reading it, and I look forward to reading more.

Point well taken, Broc! I looked back at your blog, and I see a lot there I like, too! I liked it enough to subscribe to your feed. I guess I would say this. You have a different audience than I think I do. Also, I would bet you’re a little younger than me. I’m not sure if that makes me an old fart (Oh my God! I said something offensive on the Internet!) or if that makes you a little young and brash. Not that it matters. Thanks for the comment. And thanks for the great attitude!
