I want to continue my conversation about synchronicity. What I mean by synchronicity is that uncanny way the world has of responding to your desires, interests, and deeds.
So far with my How To Quit Smoking Book, I’ve written it, translated it into a .pdf file (so that anyone can read it on any machine–Windows, Mac, or Unix), and uploaded it to Payloadz and to Lulu.com. I’ve written a post about uploading it to Payloadz and trying to sell it during one seven day auction on eBay. I’ll write another post specifically about Lulu. But what I wanted to do here was alert you to a really great post by Ilker Yoldas on The Thinking Blog.
In the post just before last, eBook Part I: The Idea and Writing It, I described how and when I got the idea to write ebooks. I didn’t even know such a thing existed back in November. I read Joe Vitale’s book, The E-Code, liked it, then wondered what I could do. After some thought, I hit upon the idea of writing a book on how to quit smoking, using the system that my dad invented. I finished the book by the end of the year.
I finished my first ebook a few weeks ago. It’s a how-to manual on how to quit smoking. I’ll write a post about the book itself very soon, so I don’t want to repeat myself here. What I do want to write about is the sequence of events that lead to the idea of writing ebooks and selling them on the Internet.
