Short But Potent!

Another Gem!

Doshdosh had a great post a few days ago about how to make money online. I bookmarked it, then forgot about it.

Linear bookmarking sites and I don’t get along too well. I’m not a very linear person.

Idealy, I would require about five or so dimensions. But, things being as they are, linearity is what I’m stuck with.

So, as I was rummaging through my delicious bookmarks I ran across this post.

It’s definitely worth reading!

After you read it, let me know what you think!

A Must Read!

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

I subscribe to Steve Olson’s blog because he always writes stuff that’s interesting, and every now and then he writes a post that’s a blockbuster!

Well, he’s written another blockbuster.

I’m not even going to tell you what it’s about.

Just go read it.

(Hint: It could change your children’s lives!)

A Better Way To Unleash Your Potential!

Thursday, April 19th, 2007

Techgirl has a good post about confidence in her blog, The Optimised Life. She talks about a time when she was a girl and she was nervous about talking with others. Her mother gave her some great advice and told her not to think about herself, but to think about who she was talking to.

I’m always interested in new paradigms that help me better my life. It’s amazing to me how much power thought has.

Didn’t You Know? Monsters Never Wear Pants!

Sunday, April 8th, 2007

I’ll be the first to admit, my children know more about some things than I do. Now, I’m not saying they’re smarter. They might be or they might not be. I’m a pretty smart guy. But then again, they’re my kids! I’m just saying they have a connection with wisdom beyond their years.

Never Fail Ever Again, And…

Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007

…never do anything worthwhile either.

People who get things done know that failure is just part of the game of success.

Thomas Edison: “Genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration.”

So, why is our educational system based on teaching kids to avoid failure? It seems to me that we should be teaching them to embrace failure!

Britney Spears Survives Backstage Liplock With Dick Cheney…

I believe it was Lewis Carroll who said that when he got up every morning, he tried to think of at least ten impossible things. Well, this headline is impossible thing number one for me today!

Virtual Pit Bull Mauls Blog Visitor…

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

I have this great fear!

You need to know that I am only outwardly socialized. I can pass for a gentleman, even a somewhat sensitive guy. But in reality, I’m basically a human version of a pit bull.

Tune In To Synchronicity!

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

One thing I want to do with this blog is to review books that I read. This might be problematic, however, because I read over such a wide spectrum. Other than the suspense and science fiction that I read, I also read business books, self-help books, history, and books on various aspects of religion.

How Do You View Potential? Fixed or Growing?

Sunday, March 18th, 2007

I ran across this at Guy Kawasaki’s blog. This is an article about a book published by psychology professor Carol Dweck. According to the book, Dweck looks into why people fail even though they may have the skills and talents required to succeed.

Trump Vs. Teresa

Sunday, March 18th, 2007

What I really like about Donald Trump is that people either love him or hate him. You’re either a Rosie O’Donnell or one of the suck ups in “The Apprentice”. (I guess I’m more like the suck ups.) Mother Teresa, on the other hand, doesn’ t inspire this sort of polarization. You could probably make the eighth deadly sin: Not Liking Mother Teresa. How could you not like Mother Teresa? She was literally a saint!
